I hope they are reading mine along with all of the obscenities my comrades and I have been sharing about them. I'd hate to think I've been wasting my breath and not at least insulting someone up there.

YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN HERE!
WELL, HERE IT COMES!!!!
R 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009
A new bill HR 45 has been introduced into the House.
This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009.
To find out about this - go to any government website and type in HR 45 or Google HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009. You will get all the information.

Basically this "little" piece of legislation would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

.It is registered
.You are fingerprinted
.You supply a current Driver's License
.You supply your Social Security #
.You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
.Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25
- Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Guns must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

The Government would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

Go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this.

Josh, is there no way to edit typos in the title?

Ruckus erupts at Tampa town hall meeting on health care
Friday, August 7, 2009

A town hall meeting on President Obama's health care reform proposal turned into a spectacle Thursday.

TAMPA (Bay News 9) -- A town hall meeting to talk about President Obama's health care reform proposal turned into a near-riot in Tampa on Thursday.

Hundreds of people packed into the Children's Board offices in Ybor City for the meeting sponsored by state Rep. Betty Reed and the Service Employees International Union.

But when guest speaker U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor tried to talk about health care reforms, protesters started screaming and booing, drowning her out.

"I was afraid they were going to jump on her at one time," said health care reform supporter Ann Jenkins. "They were all in her face trying to scream. What they were trying to scream and nobody knows what that was and nothing got accomplished."

"Of course, I can't pass up an opportunity to basically let my feelings be known," said health care reform protester Chris Seeger.

Sponsors closed the doors on the overflowing crowd, leaving hundreds more pounding on the doors, waiting in the halls and chanting outside.

Several people in the crowd claim they were physically attacked.

Tampa Police were called in to get the situation under control.

Video of Thursday night's near riot is currently one of the top videos on Youtube.

I also agree with banning people with negative scores but I think they should get a warning e-mail before they are banned completely. Another alternative is to have it set up so that negative scores can only post in certain places (such as certain forums require a certain number of posts in other areas before you can post in them) or just block them from posting anywhere.

Bill, I fully agree with that statement. Does this include if the tenant is no longer in the State of Florida? She has moved to Indiana.

Thanks for your response, but it would be $3000 per year for 6 yrs. so $18K. Do you still think it's a bad deal?
Thanks

No, I'd say more than doubling your money in 6 years is not a bad deal but your original statement said "at the end of 6 years." What difference does it make if you own the property in the end if the ROI is good? I would have an attorney review the contracts and make sure my position is protected from both the original owner and the tenant/buyer though.

A 20% return on $15K is $3000. Divide that by 6 yrs. and you're making $500/yr. on that $15K. I'd say that pretty much sucks.

I guess I'm a sucker too because I've given both food and money to these people (money to a man who was standing beside the road with his kid because his car broke down and they were stranded 500 miles from home). Its too bad that people that might really need help are being treated like criminals because of the scammers. I guess its like with investors, the bad ones give them all a bad name.

Thanks Bill. I'll certainly take a look at your blog. If nothing else for future reference.
