@Chyniece Cox, meetups are your best option.  There are some really good ones in the Milwaukee area.  If you are ever in the Fox Valley there are several great meetups that I could recommend.

Depends on the area in Green Bay.  If you are getting $750/unit it must be a nicer area (or include utils/amenities).

Hi All,

I have been contemplating volunteering for the local Habitat for Humanity program here.  It seems like a great way to pickup some construction skills, meet some new people and do some good in the community.  I went to a meeting and the people seem really nice.  The only downside is committing at least 1 8 hour day per month.  I am interested to hear other people experience with them.  thanks

Great post @Joseph Cornwell

An amazing job of achieving FI in such a short time frame. How have you been able to grow so fast? Are you doing a value add BRRRR strategy or did you just have a lot of cash savings to use as down payments? Thanks

Welcome @Brian Martin

My advise would be to absorb as much free information as you can from BP, local investors and REI groups as mentioned above. This will get you to phase two which is the "DO SOMETHING" phase. Finding a partner or investor that will go to the next level with you for free is a challenge. You need to have something of value in the partnership or money for coaching. Jumping in without a partner or coach is a crap shoot in my opinion.

Can your Grandma qualify for the loan if you co-sign?  Just throwing it out there.
