Hello BP - I have an opportunity where I can build 3 to 4 two stories duplexes in Austin land area. And may be 4 to 5 more in future (1 to 2 years). However, I need to find out couple of things;

1) Loan==> process of loan for new construction?

2)   Builder ==> where/how to find reputed and trust worthy "new" construction builder?

Thanks
Sal

as a Finance major in college and finishing-up MBA to me doing yearly Tax is like an activity, which I been doing it for numbers of years and don't mind doing it. But I am at the stage I don't want to do it, and would like to some firm to do it with the reasonable fee. But seems like whom ever I talk to, they started with importance of LLCs discussion and end up putting huge $$ amount in front of it. Oh well,,, search is on in Austin, TX area :).

My Experience:
(disclosure, I like CPAs, respect the professional them and once wanted to be one in past).

So I've been interviewing quite a few CPAs in past couple of years, and whom ever I talk to either tried to sell me LLCs formation for $1500 (which btw I can do myself and have done it in past for faction of cost), or proposed filing cost of $1500 per LLC with number of hours of consultation fee etc etc.

I always wondering, is there any simple, straight forward, reasonable CPAs out there who simply file taxes without scaring clients off with various stories to up sell some of their services.

Still looking for one, till then I am my own CPA :).  (again no disrespect indented).

Hi - I have  rehab going, but contractor left the project in the middle of it on my behind since I had to go out of town for business trip. Bathroom remodel is 70% down but i am like hanging in the middle of the project? any one else faced this sort of problem?

Thanks

Thanks Greg. No liens, very clean. Know the seller. I'll open an escrow with title, they'll do the all the due diligence. Will title company also tell me which document we (seller and buyer) needed? Thanks!
