Sounds like a good deal to me - get a bunch of appliances and not have to worry about getting them into the house. Why not try to talk them down just a bit - maybe $800 for all the appliances? There is always room for negotiation, right?

Its got to be easier renting out a house with w/d and fridge.

I like your style! I'm all about us young guys making it happen early! Its great you're out of debt and ready to make things happen! I'd just set up some sort of strategy for yourself. If you do your homework, you can minimize your risk. I'm no master flipper, but I am learning every day. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello!

I've thought about getting involved in some serious real estate deals, but doing so takes serious money.

How would I go about raising large amounts of capital, like $2 million or so? I know I need to talk to everone I know, but what is the best way to bring in some real big fish?

Has anyone dealt with these type of properties? I was wondering if rehabbing a burnout is more trouble then its worth.

I'd follow the advice of many folks here, and go out to the library. Save yourself the money. You can get a great real estate education for free at your local library or at the local college/university library.

Try that out before spending your hard earned money. What are you looking to find out about foreclosures?
