@Michael Paling. LOL. "I need to do a background to confirm you have a secret security clearance."

Ahhhh no Bucko, everybody gets a background. Now he's got my curiosity up to see what he is hiding, but I'd just pass on this one.

@Michael K Gallagher

Nope but I'd be very interested if my host was marketing to the 420 crowd so I could stay away.

@Mary Jay

This is a great question because you will get great responses and resolutions going both ways.

I've been in your place and have had the same questions and concerns. Here are the answers I appreciated and needed to hear:

"Hey, run your business like a business, you want to be a social worker, go back to college, get a degree." This answer hurt my feelings, but he was right.

Maybe the lesson for both you and your tenant, is learning to be responsible and paying people what you owe them? For you, maybe it's putting on your big girl pants and holding people responsible?

You don't have to be a jerk, or cold and uncaring. Just do your job.

Good Luck! You will learn great lessons either way. And then you can pass it on! You'll have some great laughs along the way!

@Alex Thomsen

Been there. So......if this is as good as it gets, is it good enough? Because this is as good as it is going to get.

I'd call the PMC and tell them I want another PM. They don't do it, I look for another company. If they do, I'd give the new one a chance. If I continued to be unhappy, I'd start looking for a new company and move on.

I've spent a lot of time smoking hopeium (hoping it gets better) and it usually doesn't get better and I'm always pissed off. I don't want to go thru life always pissed off so I cut my losses and move on.
