Post: Leaving sticky notes on doors to generate leads. Good idea?

I feel like this is a cheap and easy way to get phone calls or listings.

They could say something like “hey, I’m a realtor from X Brokerage, would you be interested in selling your house?” I know it’s a weak example but I’m all ears if you have something better.

People will be mad and call about littering but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Have you heard of anyone having success doing this?

I could roll around on those electric scooters and post them on the doors in neighborhoods.

What do you think?

I’ve read millionaire real estate agent/investor and the ultimate beginners guide. Do you know of any free online courses?

How many people showed up? What were the hours? Where was it? When was it? How many emails/phone numbers did you get? How long did you prepare/how much did you spend?

Thank you! 🙂

If you could spend $1,000 a month and 10 hours per week to generate leads how would you do it? Direct mail, cold call, open house...

Don’t say it can’t be done because I’ve seen it.

@Julie Wimberly

I would sell it and cash in. According to the analysts I’ve spoken with, housing prices are going to head lower (Idk if it’s true or not but seems to be a popular opinion at the least). Flips are great in this scenario because they are a shorter term investment that you can profit from quicker and ride with market fluctuations more steadily throughout the year. It seems like it will be a while before you start producing positive cash flow so it might be worth it to continue flipping just for the time being. Collect some cash!

@Gary Carver

I love Tempe AZ! So much recent development and future plans! Houses are still reasonably priced and easy to find tenants. Mesa is a great place too. I’m sticking with AZ just because I’m licensed here. I love the Texas market, specifically Austin. I’ll probably own some places in Florida and Colorado too but that’s mostly because I love those states.

Hey Brooke!

I read the beginners guide over and over and listened to the podcasts while I played call of duty. Books on tape help and so does reading the "Millionaire Real Estate Investor".

Hello!

I am a newer realtor originally from Michigan. I've lived in the East Valley (Phoenix AZ) for the past 6 years. I recently graduated from ASU and finished 9 years in the Army Reserves in December. I've always had an interest in investing and look forward to purchasing my first house in July using VA loans!

I'm always looking to network with investors or agents. I haven't necessarily picked a specific sector of real estate that I want to specialize in yet. I like the idea of participating in syndications or REIT's. I eventually want to own a large portfolio of single family residencies. Any resources available that could help educate me or progress my career would be greatly appreciated!

I'm always willing to meet up or have a conversation with like minded people!
