Welcome to BP @Amie Lamb. Reading the forums and listening to the podcasts are a big part of what keeps me focused on my goals. Since you're already doing that, it sounds like you're on your way to a great start!

Welcome to BP @Shane Rupe. Like you, whenever I'm in the car, I'm either listening to the BP Podcast or an audiobook on investing or personal devleopment. I also got my start here in Orlando investing while getting my bachelor's. As many others have said, you're in the right place. Best of luck.

Welcome to BP @Jenny Cunningham. It's awesome when you can make a career out of doing what you love.

@Leonid Sapronov, yes I made a few subtle modifications to it. Honestly I feel sad for a few seconds when I look back and the pictures and remember the driving experience then I remember why I let her go and the importance of sticking to your goals.

@Ryan DosseyThey're awesome.

This was my toy I sold to add to the REI fund. It appreciated and continues to do so. Had her for two years. I can't buy one back for what I paid for this one but I could scratch it off my dream car bucket list.

@Ryan Dossey, you mentioned you're a car guy, so am I. For me, there is no better value out there within your asking price than a 90s Lexus SC. Bulletproof Toyota reliability and quality, legendary Supra chassis and 2JZ engine (the 1UZ V8 is great as well), and good looks! It isn't as practical since it is a coupe, but there's also the Lexus GS. Best of all none of these are wrong wheel drive.

The article mentions Millennials following the "American prescription for success" which I think is key to why my (millennial) generation is in our current situation. If we use the prescription analogy, one could argue that there are constantly new and better drugs being developed and prescribed while we uncover the down sides to the old drugs we've been prescribed for years. The drugs we thought were helping us. Maybe the prescription that worked so effectively in the past needs some tweaking.

1999 Lexus SC400 and 2002 GS430. Sold my Acura NSX some time ago to add to the REI fund! Knowing what a depreciation curve is makes me really struggle with the idea of a new car.

@Payal Z. on the Avalon Park and Lake Nona areas. My first rental was in Avalon Park and I had no problems finding reliable tenants. Being close to UCF and the new medical center didn't hurt either. There are also areas in Kissimmee that will meet your criteria that are closer to Disney and can allow you to tap into the vacation rental market if you choose to do so.

Thanks @JC Gauthier, @John Kent, @James Wise(great podcast, btw), and

@Austin Stanton. BP has been an awesome resource. My only regret is not finding it sooner. Going to try to pull off a back-to-back closing here in less than a week and a half selling and buying my new primary residence.
