@M.C. Nachtigal great post! I was wondering if this notice only applies to 12 month leases since how would it even work with a 6 month lease? Also you mentioned your leases end in the summer, I'm still pretty new to the game and was wondering if you think its better to have them end at the beginning or end of summer?

Do you currently invest in the Maggie Valley area?

@Eric Huang congrats! Are you guys looking to self manage? Currently I've been looking in the NC area with regards to STRs and have a boat load of resources with regards to managing STRs remotely so more than happy to provide them if you need any

What was the ultimate reason you left the property? Was it because of the noise issue?

 Curious to know the same and also where you ended up buying the duplex

@Robert Wynne

The summer and October month are a huuuge hit and you will most likely see the highest occupancy rates. There are an abundance of activities: hiking, swimming, rafting, kayaking, tubing, zip lining, & farmer markets. People are coming to also see the water falls, adorable small towns to walk through, and the Blue Ridge.

During the October month the leaves change and its truly just a beautiful site to see. Feel free to send me a direct message, I'm more than happy to jump on a call to talk more about the area and also provide you with any resources you might need.

Hey @Brandon Allenczy, I just came across this post. I wasn't sure if you still needed help or needed recommendations on management in this area?

Hey @Bryan Zen

I was curious of going down a similar path. Wanted to see if you had any updates on if you were successful with outsourcing for this?
