I am a Real Estate investor in Kitchener - and Not Waterloo, Ontario - simply because of the Rental Bylaw that they have now for Waterloo.

Hi Jordan - I am an investor in Guelph using Rent to Own and Joint ventures.  That is a good way to get started too.  I can tell you more and we could meet in Guelph sometime.

Other markets in Ontario may be less expensive yet we still want to make sure that the values are increasing as you don't want to go to a cheap buy and then find no appreciation in value.

I would call Ron Dennis of State Farm - Kitchener and either he or Craig from his office can probably give you a rule of thumb.
