Hey all,

My name is Roy, from Israel and I want to start flipping (doesn't mean to rebuild the house, maybe hold for short term and sold).

I'm thinking to do it in Jackson, NJ cause I have family there.

My questions is how can I find great deals (off market\ lower price than the market) if I'm not living there?

My budget is around 200K

And any other tips will help :)

@Peter Cung where can I find it?

Hey All,

I'm looking to buy a single family house for rental.

My budget is top $50K.

I'm wondering what is the best area there for me? (meaning- with schools, universities, and good class, not rough neighborhood).

Thank you all!

It depends on your risk tolerance and your goals. Different approaches can work. Aside from price range, what sort of neighborhood or asset class are you looking to invest in?

I'm new in investing so I still don't know the differences between classes.
What I do know is that I don't want rough neighborhood.

Price range: around 50K

I'm looking to invest in single family house, buy & hold

What are you looking for? "Best" can depend on the person and the strategy. Are you looking for flips, buy and holds, etc? You can find some very low-cost properties to flip all over, but they may end up being in bad neighborhoods that will give you a difficult time finding a good tenant or for resale. If you are looking for a buy and hold, I would recommend looking more into the suburbs like Euclid, Bedford, Cleveland Heights, Lakewood, Parma Heights, Willowick, Eastlake, Wickliffe, and Mentor.

If you are feeling risky and are trying to be dangerous with "up and coming" area, maybe look into Ohio City and University Circle.

Feel free to send me a PM, I would be happy to help. Good luck to you!

Hey All,

My name is Roy,

I want to start invest in real estate.

In the past week I'm learning every day about real estate, the basics and stuff.

I have a friend that invest in Clevland, and I want to do that too(I have never been in Clevland).

My budget is around 50k.

I have few questions about before you buy the property:

1. What is the best area for my budget?

2. What and how do you check about area for investment?

3. How you decide to buy a house? what you check?

Any tips to get into this investment world will help.

I'm reading now the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Real Estate investing of BiggerPockets website, there are a lot of info there, but I want to take it one step ahead.

So what is your suggestions?

Thank you very much!
