Post: Recommendations for Mentor/Coach or Mastermind-type program

Hey BP team!

I have a potential 2023 goal of either getting a great personal mentor/coach or joining a legit, value-add mastermind type group. I've read a lot about Gobundance/M1/Emerge and I am intrigued however I feel my situation is a bit unique:

-I semi-retired from the w-2 world (tech) in 2020, reached financial independence (through commercial real estate investing) that same Summer

-I am an accredited investor and an LP in about 17 syndication deals (multifamily, storage facilities, ATM, etc.).

I like the Gobundance concept (surrounding myself with like minded, more successful people) - however, the cons for me are the hefty price tag and what seems like a huge time commitment. Being semi-retired, wondering if a mentor who specializes in real estate investing would make more sense? I do know that I want to connect with someone who's more successful than I am. Thoughts and/or recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Ron

Hey gents. I thought I would jump on this thread as I too am very interested in Pacaso and have been studying their website for a while now. I would love to hear from anyone who has purchased a 2nd home through them - so that I ca get a good understanding of the overall experience. I think the business model is so smart. Perfect for someone like me who couldn't afford the kind of vacation home/location that I prefer otherwise... and someone who doesn't want to deal with all the annoying parts of vacation homeownership like maintenance, furnishing the place, etc. You just schedule your time there, show up and enjoy. Also, the homes they choose are high-end and designed to the T.

@Todd Harris thx for your response, Todd. I’m pretty good now. Diversified and also in a couple funds.

I have 5 SFH rentals in the Memphis area and can not recommend this turn key company highly enough. Memphis Investment Properties - reach out to Mark Hart 901-842-0805 and let him know that Ron Ripley sent you. :-)

@Matthew Brown I’m looking as well. Not sure how important it is that they are in Bay Area with zoom, etc but thought I’d start here. Anyone come across a referral? Thx!
