People who are telling you to get a real job, just want to pull you back to their level. It's not their fault it's just how they were raised to think about money etc..

I don't think they are trying to hurt you but they just don't know any other way.

If you do what 98% of America is doing you will have exactly what they got..

If "they" say you aren't living life right, trust me you're heading in the right direction.

Be sure to get your own comps and repair estimates for yourself. Don't take the deal providers numbers for anything other than just their opinion.

Most people just want you to remain on the same level as them. They don't want you or have success because it will expose the lack of success in their own lives. My family is full of realtors and people associated with the business and they don't have a clue how to get on the other side of the table. All I heard was "you better be careful" "I'm not sure about that" " hmmm that sounds risky to me" " I'm not writing all those offers" Don't let family, friends , or anyone stop you from reaching your goals. If your honest and ethical & earn it fairly go make by the truck load...

The main thing you have to understand dealing with contractors is most are not business guys. They have a cell phone and a truck most of the time. Half of their days are spent standing in the driveways of the jobs their on waiting to be paid. You can find good guys no doubt but just know even the good ones need to be watched. I've had good ones fall of the face of the earth. Stay on top of them all the time
