Tired of hearing people say get a REAL job.

I am constantly hearing "Get a REAL job". so i dont talk to anybody anymore. I am glad i found this group, now i can read, see what others are doing, and make connections. "get a REAL job" i inwardly smirk now cause i KNOW that it can be done. I will stay focused by creating positive connections.

Prior to doing REI full-time, I was a high priced IT consultant making $250K+ per year. People new I was "dabbling" in REI and thought I was crazy when I left. Most of society doesn't understand anything that isn't 9:00 to 5:00, with a somewhat guaranteed pay cheque. And it's up to you to decide how much much effort you want to put into this which will determine how much you will get in return.

Success is the greatest proof.
