Ron, I have single and multifamily rentals in Volusia county. Are you considering Airbnb for your condo? Because I have experience in that, too, however, the county brought a law outlawing Airbnbs except if the property is located on the eastside of A1A.

Your insurance should be able to provide you with breeds that are restricted.

In my market I’ve noticed that tenants who have animals are likely to stay in the unit for a longer period, due to the difficulties in finding another place that accepts pets. 

Great podcast. It was a nice reminder that we’re not alone with our difficult times.

@Carolyn Morales yes, The property had been vacant for many years and the city had a monthly charge for a closed account.

We found it right after the sale and luckily were  reimbursed from the county from excess money after the taxes were paid.
