@Eliott Elias  One thing about the School System in Vanderbilt, TX...Industrial ISD is a great school system and has been that way for decades!  I think many folks are employed by some chemical plants in the area.

I live in Ft. Bend County, recently sold a property in Matagorda County to an Investor in Harris County.  I know I owe the state, but do I also owe the other Counties for this transaction?

Thanks!

I'm selling my land investment to another investor. I typically request payment in the form of Cashiers Check or Wire Transfer. This investor only pays with a company check.

Is this normal? Do I have recourse if the check doesn't clear? I'm in Texas.

I'm selling a one acre piece of land in Texas.  There was previously a mobile home on the property, but has been removed.

The buyer wants to put a mobile home on the property.

A couple of questions:

1.  Will we have to engage a RMLO?

2.  We will be closing the property with a down payment and payments for three years.  If the buyer wants to put in his MH while still making payments, but stops making payments...what recourse will I have?  Take back the property and have him remove his MH?

Thanks!

I've been looking through John Fedro's Mobile Home materials. Lots of very informative videos on yt.  I've talked to John and he is very sincere and helpful!  He also has MH experience in Florida.

I second the suggestion to follow @Arnie Abramson!  I met Arnie a couple of years back when he came to Missouri City!  A straight up honest man who knows Texas Tax Lien Auctions better than anyone!
