I have a close friend who is a real estate agent. She has a handful of listings, im having a tough time on figuring out what loan to get, I don’t have anything saved up for a down payment. Interest rates looks really good right now. Would love to get started. Im currently renting and don’t have a mortgage, and my credit score is around 730. Can anyone help on where I can find a good loan or what kind of loan should I look for, for a multi family (duplex)

@William C.

Hvac installer here, I troubleshoot systems like these all the time. Next time this happens.

1) have contractor deal with them, it’s not your responsibility.

2) if you can’t reach GC, if you want to be nice, refer them to a service tech, 99% of the problem is due to poor start up by tech or installer. I work commercial building and RARLY it’s the system. Iv been doing this for years now and only came by 1 unit that didn’t work. Took it back to manufacture and got a new one.

@Jeremy Taggart

Thanks Jeremy, now could you elaborate on that?

The loan how can I find that, to being able to put a small down payment.

Could you possibly put it in example on how that’s working out for you from then to today? I’d appreciate that!

Hey everyone

Iv been getting a lot of tips and ideas on what I should do to get started I’m so thankful for everyone who has responded to me and help me through this!

Iv has multiple people tell me I should get my first house live in 1-2 years then rent it.

Could I get pros and cons or any better suggestions. I do like the idea but before I get into a commitment Is it good idea or not so much?

@Nick Quarandillo

I am too a beginner, iv ask tons of questions iv learnt so much within my first 3 months, and so much more to learn. I started listening to the pod cast even though I started to get in this 2018, I’m listing to the pod cast from the beginning (2013) I’m almost out of it and will we listening to the 2014 cast) here soon.

I work construction, not only am I reading, listening and learning while working, I’m also getting close to people from the investing world and construction world. My advantage is that I’m super friendly and talkative. Iv met electrician, plumbers, sprinklers, rockers and many’s more I have connections.. I have about over 20 people In my contacts so when I come across a rehab house my options are huge on who to call, this may not be for everyone Or a lot may not agree with this but iv made relationships with other trades. I’ll have cheaper helpers and my helpers will get there own profit of the share. It’s a win win for all of us.

Keep in mind it’s not always what you know.. it’s who you know.

Best of luck my friend!
