@Jarrid Weber Hi Jarrid, welcome! I hear you on analysis paralysis, it is a concern! One of the podcast guests and author of a few books (forgot who) suggested a 1 to 1 ratio between new material you ingest and time to process while putting the pause on. So if it takes a week to read a book, you'd take a week afterwards to process and brainstorm/evaluate/plan etc, without reading new material. Otherwise it's easy to fall into the rhythm of keep learning and not acting. Anyway, I thought that was a very interesting concept.

Hi @Kyle Deutschmann, thanks! Very cool, house hacking is sure helpful. Yes, tons of great resources here. In fact it's easy for a newbie to get lost in them! That aspect is a bit of a challenge, the more one learns, the more options there are! Must zero in to something then put blinders on :)

@Matt Berklacy Hi Matt! thank you. Airbnb is definitely interesting as a strategy, even though regulations against it is something to contend with. I suppose it's important to have management automated. It is something I'd like to look into more.

New to REI, have been educating myself during the past several months with podcasts and books. Currently pseudo-househacking by renting a room in my house, soon (hopefully) the lower level as well. The goal being to build up funds/reserves for buy and hold properties.

Big fan of BP and all the wisdom being spread, hopefully one day I can contribute.

Would be very interested in connecting with others with similar or complimentary interests, either local or remote.
