@Frank S. @Terry Campbell

I have also been interested in the idea of a storage park. Havent seen too many threads here on BP about the subject but it does seem that dependent on your area it could be lucrative.

Here in CA most outdoor places are between 100-175 a month depending on size. After a few years of dealing with toilets, leaking this and that, renters not willing to change bulbs etc... RV storage is looking better and better.

@Barry H.

I currently use storybook realty, theyre here on BP. Overall I've been happy the last two years with them except for the latest hiccup which I'm waiting to see how the deal with things.

@Jasmine C.

Ever find anyone decent? I also have properties in KCMO and I am starting to wonder about some of the "handymen" that my PM is using. Ive actually called the number on file for the handyperson and I was hung up on a few times in addition to them not having ANY phone etiquette.

Definitely make sure who is doing any repair work. This goes for anyone who is out of state especially if you use a turnkey company.

@Joe Koppel

I'm sure anyone there can help you and they have a few options. I personally used Kim Sidden , she answered all questions in a timely manner and was pleasant to deal with. Good luck.

What are the numbers on your property and who'd you use?

@Ray Harrell

I may go with two initially and then just go with the pm that suits my needs for all properties, plus I know many PMs offer a discount for managing in bulk.

Id like to hear some of BPs experiences when it comes to switching PM for any reason. How was the process, was it a pain in the butt, hard feelings, took a hit in the pocket etc?

Also,although it doesn't seem too conducive, has anyone ever had two PMs in relatively the same area?

@Lance Hulsey Bit of an old thread but wondering if you ever pulled the trigger? Id be interested in hearing some of the details. A buddy and myself were looking into the same idea here in San Diego.

Thanks for all the input everyone, I like the different perspectives.

@Joe Splitrock Sounds like you missed out on your 20s,jk. To each their own. Personally I was over driving an old car about to take a dump, so I upgraded to a diesel and the family and I love it . I get making sacrifices and making sure that your comfy later in life, I do like to enjoy life to an extent while I'm young and healthy. Ive met some people with LOADS of money that are older (>60) and some have told me they wish they enjoyed more time with family or little splurges when they were younger not just pinching every penny.  My brother in law did nothing but save for the future, and he was great at it unfortunately he suffered a stroke and has never been the same, that being said his family told me they wish they could have gone on more trips and done more things together  instead of pinching every dime .  Its all relative, moderation in all aspects.

@James Wise I'm headed in the direction you stated, I'm going to put that cash towards property.

@Brent Lowry Gotta enjoy life sometimes brotha, I get it.

@Steve Vaughan I took special offense to that comment, I don't particularly like Foxworthy. lol

@Joe Villeneuve Always dropping knowledge, appreciate it.
