Thank you for the welcomes.

@Joseph Barbaretta

We are doing fine with managing one home, we will see how it goes with more. Initially I am more concerned about finding legitimate deals at a distance. Turnkeys seem to be an option if you do your research, however you appear to give up most of the equity gained in rehabbing a property via your own means.

I am also stationed in Bahrain and would be interested in the community's advice on this matter.

Hello BP community. I currently reside in Juffair, Bahrain and have been exploring the site and catching up on the Podcasts. Listening to Brandon and Josh evolve their host styles is entertaining as well as informative.

I currently own one SFH rental in Virginia Beach that was a primary home when purchased. My wife and I remotely manage that property. We had initially hired a property manager associated with a name brand reality company and after three years (the length of initial lease) we felt that they had not earned their 10%.

My short term goal is to invest in a MFH as a start to building a buy and hold portfolio. I am open to other opportune properties as well. I have capital available and two solid incomes. Currently I am researching whether I should establish an LLC (can not find a solid answer as of yet), how to maximize the use of my current capital for multiple properties, and remote investing. As Elizabeth Colegrove mentioned in Podcast 103, it is hard to invest in your backyard when you move every tour. Due to this I am also open to the idea of specializing in a market outside of my current residence. Heck, my backyard is the Arabian Gulf right now!

Looking forward to building my real estate portfolio with the awesome advice from this community!
