I’m my market laminate is common , but also the import man made quartz is also very cheap and popular choice . I’ll choose it over laminate for a marginal difference.

Maybe specifically Manhattan. But outside of Manhattan still remains relatively high .

Ben , as a General Contractor from NYC, I can tell you this in no walk in the park . The permitting and approval process is tough . Along with all the special inspections . Lots and lots of hidden cost .

Usually a good idea, but dependent on zoning , and cost.
