Hi everyone,

I'm from So Cal and have been working for a construction company as a project manager. After being involved in my share of remodels and being around agents/investors etc. I finally realized I really want to get into real estate! Already scheduled to take my RE sales license exam, but the goal is to eventually and gradually invest in RE. I've been browsing the forums for an hour a day and everyone here seems to be extremely helpful and successful! Hope to learn and meet some great people here. If anyone is looking for an apprentice, let me know.=)

Thanks everyone for the advice so far. I'm going to try and find a class to take on real estate on the weekends and go from there along with browsing this forum as much as I can.

I work a full time job, but would really like to start learning about real estate investing/flipping etc. I only have weekends free and maybe an hour or two on weekdays. Does anyone here do this on the side and have any advice on how I can get started?

Hi everyone,

When it comes to real estate investing, buying, etc, I'm a complete beginner, but real glad I came across this site and plan to spend a lot of time learning all I can. That being said, it seems like there's so much to learn in order to get the most out of investing in real estate. It's not like I have tons of money sitting around to spend on real estate, but would like to at least do something on a "small" scale to get my feet wet so to speak. Can anyone suggest any tips or advice, books, or anything at all? I work a full time job and trying to save what I can so I can hopefully start investing in something that can potentially give more returns than having money in a savings account.
