@Matt Berklacy i would like to inquire a little more information about your job posting.

@manuel Luz sorry if i wasn't clear yes i mean "the women" i guess that is the risk of inheriting tenants. i understand you have had a rough history with her but, have you given thought of just have a sincere conversation with her about her moving ?

@ Manuel Luz i am sorry to hear about that i cant understand some peoples moral compass. when you were going thru the rental process with this tenant what type of screening did you do ?

@Filipe Pereira yes, i really put alot of thought in to this move. i have tried to research the area the best i can and would love to build sold relationships in the area. I most definitely will look in to east long meadow when i was there in January i was at a meet up group there and heard good things of that city. i will also look into Enfield.

@Filipe Pereira first thank you for commenting on the post, well there are a couple of reasons we choose Springfield my wife grew up there and we have a strong support system from her large family there i have visited a couple of times and was there in January and can see opportunity there and see the city is trying to turn things in a better direction example the new casino. i also noticed that rents are on the rise and cost are still reasonable to purchase and find property's were i can add value to. i also am open to invest in the surrounding area's willing to drive 7 to 8 from Springfield but i want to bring good housing to the city. i visited a meet up group while i was there and felt a sense of community but i haven't meet someone who is currently doing business there. if i can get in contact with like minded investor there it would be great. you mentioned you manage some property's there what is experience dealing with tenants there ? and how do you handle the not so friendly landlord laws in Mass ?

Hello BP family,

i am planning to invest in the Springfield Ma area. Primarily in the multi-family space 3-4 units and holding them as long term rentals. Our there any residential investors that are investing in Springfield ???

@ Joey Copper thank you for the article as a new investor i am still trying to determine my business model. I would like to start by managing my  property's myself and create processes and systems that work for me before hiring a property manager that share the same vision and can follow my blue print. I see some post bashing property managers and how "its a waste of money" and "they don't take care of your property's" i would be naive to say that there is no truth in what they are saying but, i have to believe that there are good property managers out there. Again thank for your post and opinion.
