Al Williamson It's in a nicer neighborhood. I have stumbled upon a 6 unit duplex. It's 175,000 5 out of 6 is rented at 475. The owner has offered to finance it for 10 years at 5% payment would be right at $980 with taxes & insurance.

I have found a duplex completely rehabbed. New roof , plumbing , wiring , floors etc its a turn key place. Asking price is 55k . I can rent it for $600 per unit. Loan payment of $350 a month including taxes & insurance. . Seems like a good buy to me but I wanted other opinions.

3,900 sqft is a big house with a bigger payment. Could you rent it for enough to cover piti in your area?

I personally wouldn't touch it with a 10ft pole. Just my 2 cents.

I have found a duplex 20 minutes from my house for 55,000. 2 bed 1 bath on each side. It's completely remodeled inside including new plumbing , wiring & roof.The place is turn key. I have done some research I can get $625 per unit. My loan payment would be right at $300. This would be my first purchase and wanted other investors opinions. Thanks

I personally wouldn't buy a mobile home as an investment property. Mobile homes tend to depreciate instead of appreciating.
