John,

Welcome to investing here in Indianapolis! I'm newer to the scene and have taken a lot of value out of attending and networking at CIREIA. I would highly recommend coming to a few meetings to get your feet wet, as well as joining a few sub groups. The next large group meeting is coming up on October 13th. I hopefully look forward to seeing you there. 

I've also heard good things about INREIA, but I haven't been and can't speak to the group.
