Do you have a Lumber Liquidators in your area? The one here has some really inexpensive laminate that can go right over the floor. $1.69/SF. It's a floating floor with a foam backing. 10 mm floor with a 2mm pad. It goes down quickly.

Thanks @Joshua Poitras. What I meant to ask about the connection is if it's legal for the appliance to be connected by a licensed plumber. In other words, are older gas on gas stoves legal to install and pass inspection? I realize gas connections require a licensed plumber.

Thanks @Tim Wilkinson. I would guess that gas on gas stoves have not been produced in a long time so they likely all have a standing pilot. @Brian Ortins do you have any experience with this? I was under the impression that up until fairly recently gas on gas stoves were allowed to be used until they essentially met the end of their useful life and then had to be replaced. Now I believe the law says that they can't even be repaired. I just can't find any confirmation of this law.

Is anybody on here aware of any recent changes to MA laws/building code that made it illegal to buy/sell or repair gas on gas stoves? I was told (I believe) that it was no longer legal to even repair them. Also, if a used one is found, is it legal for a licensed contractor to connect it? Thanks all...

@Jon S. why dont you want the property in your personal name? I have 6 rental properties (26 units) all in my personal name.

What exactly are you protecting with this Nevada LLC? How much money are you saving by filing in Nevada when you are doing business in Wisconsin? Will you have to register your Nevada LLC to do business in Wisconsin? What is your net worth? If you are concerned about this "corporate veil" do you have a real understanding of what is behind the corporate veil that you are so concerned about? Until you can answer these questions, don't even consider an LLC no matter what state you choose to file under. Do a few deals as a sole proprietor, make some money, learn about corporate structure... Good luck @James Russell
