Oh my goodness . . . my tenant sent me pics of the letters and . . . whew . . . she was mistaken.  They are offering insurance against such things for about $6 a month.  A sigh of relief, ha!

Thank y'all anyway!

Hello all,

I got a letter (haven't seen it yet, tenant received it) supposedly from the electric company wishing to charge me $5000 for their having to do electric repair. This sounds extremely fishy to me. Anyone have this happen? I'm assuming they are saying a limb fell from a tree on my property and took down a line. However, I know there was a FEMA declaration in the city and such damage is covered by FEMA (I used to work for them). Any thoughts?

Thanks, Randy

Hey all, I need to evict a non-paying tenant. Has anyone gone through this process in OKC, have any advice or direction?  I've already posted a notice on his door and sent the same notice registered mail.   Now I understand I need to file a suit of eviction . . .   I'm open/hoping for advice.  Thank you all!  - Randy
