I am currently in search of an accountant that has experience with clients in Real Estate. We have been virtual wholesaling since April 2020 in different parts of the country but our company is based in Willingboro, NJ. We've earned up to 50K this year and we are looking for an accountant that can save us as much cash as possible during tax time. Hopefully we can schedule a call or you can provide us with rates of your services.

I've been wholesaling residential properties for the past year and one of my overseas buyers has up'd the ante and is interested in purchasing a commercial/multi prop. I do know an associate at a commercial prop brokerage firm, and they sent me a few properties that were in line with the buyers terms. My buyer is interested in all the properties, but Im kind of lost on how to structure this kind of JV deal when I'm working with the broker for the buyer, and with a commercial property firm that has various sellers. So my question is: What are my next steps in securing my cut in the deal before disclosing the addresses of the properties to the buyer, and buyer info and offer to the seller. What is customary split or fees when in commercial deal when one side has the property and the other side has the buyer?

Hi Somaya, were you able to find any answers to this? I'm in search as well.

I just got that email a few minutes ago! and I immediately googled your name. There should be some type of criteria for people to even send emails like that.

After a year of researching cities to purchase in, I'm ready to pull the trigger on a Multi in the city of St. Louis. I see loads of opportunities to implement the BRRR strategy and I'd like to start building my network of contractors and hard money lenders that are already from the area before I make a final decision. I'm also open to any insight or advice my fellow biggerpockets family can offer.

Post: LLC - Online vs Lawyer Set Up

I'm close to making a decision on my first investment property and Im wondering if I should set up an LLC on my own with an online website or do I set it up with a lawyer. The reason I would like an LLC is to be able to open a business line of credit to acquire property without using my own cash. Does it even make sense for me to get one at all?

For the past year, my fiance and I have been traveling and living around the world. Started in South East Asia and worked our way through Europe and now I'm in Buenos Aires waiting for the virus to die down back in my hometown of NYC (not necessarily looking to live in NY/NJ area). Due to my circumstances I feel the best option for me to start in real estate investing is a house hack. Purchase a multi, live on one side and rent the other - Problem is, because I don't have any work history I can't use a conventional loan so the option of using a business line of credit with a lender is the direction im leading towards. Is this possible?
