Hello BP,

I would like to know how soon is too soon to contact relatives of the deceased about selling a property? A while back I told a cousin of mine that I’ll give him a referral fee if he finds houses for me in his area. Today he called me about a house and says the lady that lives there hasn’t been there for a month or two. So I hope on the computer and get the tax records for the property. When I get the lady’s name I put it in google to see what comes up and her obituary comes up. She passed away 5 days ago. Should I contact relatives now? Or should I let more time pass before reaching out to offer help?

@Scott Sklare thank you for your response. I am currently focus only on the Cleveland market but if we can exchange contacts and keep in touch when I’m ready to expand I will definitely consider WI and your expertise.

Hello BP,

I’m looking for an investor-friendly real estate agent or broker in Cleveland, OH. I am not against being on an mailing list but I would also like to receive off market or pocket leads as well. I want this partnership to mutually beneficial so leads I get that don’t  fit my buying criteria I would pass on to Agent/broker.
