@Mindy Jensen my apologies. I looked and wasn’t sure where to post it .... I will ensure I repost there for continuity. If I run into a issue similar is it ok to ask you via message?

Hey BP Family,

I am working to start a REI meet-up in the Radcliff, Elizabethtown, Fort Knox area of Kentucky, with a BP teammate @allen Bishop Jr. . If you are in the area and would like to be a part please let me know in the comments below. The goal is to have our first "Meet and Greet" next month. If your reading this and have experience with creating a meet-up or being a part, I would love you know your experience and how I can go about making this great for all involved. I look forward to reading your replies and gaining knowledge. Thank you in advanced

@Tim Herman Thank you so much for that feedback Tim. I just used the BP Calculator and turns out I'm losing a WHOOOOLLLLLLEEEEEEE lot of money. Its a great learning lesson as i can recoup some money by selling the property (as much as it pains me to say it)

Daniel here is my 2 cents for what its worth. She is your girlfriend and has already informed you that she is not interested in REI. (in whatever way) Before you do anything else you need to inform her of your plans. This, to me speaks to a deeper issue that at some point you will need to address. I've had to have the same conversation with my Wife. If she doesn't support what you're doing and willing to put something in on the action and sees that you are looking to build a future then.... what's she therefore? (I'm speaking long run here). If you are looking to build on this relationship communication is key and her understanding that paying rent will allow you to build a future with her is important. If she hasn't signed the contract yet (marriage) then this isn't a free ride. Keep in mind I'm married, Old and dusty. I look forward to your thoughts and I hope things workout. <3

HEY BP Family,

I am starting out on my REI journey. I have noticed, after reading the Ultimate beginner's guide (Book) that most if not all niches all have something in common when it comes to a skill. The skill being knowing how to analyze and find a great deal. As I continued to read I have a question that can't be answered by the book. With this in mind here is the question. To practice learning to analyze a deal, what do you think is the best way to practice this skill? my assumption is that reading some of the deals on BP would help but I know for me reading it wont allow me to learn as much as doing and failing myself. Should I use actual properties? Create theoretical properties? Whats the best way to learn and improve this skill? Thank you for reading and I look forward to hearing your opinion and responses.

@Braden Anderson I have a question for you Braden. After reading some of the responses, seems the majority go by the street name or a reminder name. Do you feel like giving it a name promotes an emotional attachment to a property? Like it would if you had a pet. Would it be bad to just use numbers? (More than one question I know but they pulled up so quickly)

Post: Do you let frustration over tenants get to you?

@Keith A. Personally never, granted I only have a single tenant so far. The Military has fought me frustration, over excitement, anger etc. are all feelings that can negatively influence a decision. Majority of the time in the military that can get someone hurt, so I try to always remain level headed!
