I will never finish drywall again. I've said that a couple times now, but this time I really mean it!! I am just not good enough at making it look smooth. This last time, I ended up paying someone to come out and re-finish the drywall that I hung and finished.

We finished up a rehab of 2 units at the end of March in a "house hack" in Tulsa. We furnished them and had planned to do STR, but as COVID hit, we decided to list them as fully furnished nursing, corporate, or other month to month rentals.

We have had barely any interest. 4 calls in 3 weeks that they have been listed. No serious leads. I'm changing the listings now to make furnishing the units an option and dropping the price by $150/mo. 

Fingers crossed that we get more traffic this way!

Nice deal, Meg! I love the Rose District. Went to middle school at the old Central Middle School that is now the administration center. It's amazing to see the progress that the area has made.

Rodney, this looks like a great investment. Did the property need any repairs? Pryor is a wonderful place to be involved in right now with the industrial park development and investment in the area by Google.

Hi Lowry! Tulsa has a ton going for it right now. It was actually mentioned on the top 25 list from trip advisors for emerging world destinations in 2020.

My wife and I are investors in the area. We recently purchased a quadplex near downtown to house hack. My Dad and I flipped a house near Tulsa last year.

There are quite a few nice suburbs surrounding Tulsa that are very stable rental markets, and Tulsa proper has been expanding lately as well.

@Harley Whistance I have taken a hiatus from the forums for about 8 months, so I'm not sure if there is one scheduled for July. I will ask around and let you know!
