Hi Remrie and thanks for the compliment and I haven't even pulled out my Sundays best yet. All of your tips are a great help except for Bandit signs. Oh how I wish we could get away with those here. Would not have a good ending. I think they're really on to us here, lol. But I will definitely be working the other angles. Like I said, once I get a hold of something that works, Hold On!!

Thanks Brandon. I agree with you about the wholesaling. It is absolutely what everyone says to start with but I also see the difficulties. I guess trial and error is the name of the game. I will check out your link you sent me tonight. Any other tips or advice you want to throw my way go ahead, if I run out of storage in my brain I'll use my wife's as backup, although she is way smarter so that's why we use mine first, more room :o)

Hi Kelly, Congrats on the acquisitions!! Not too long from now We will be announcing our 1st & then 2nd I'm sure. Unfortunately I don't anticipate investing too much in the actual "College Town". As Steve (posted below) knows all to well, this town is way over priced. I will be wholesaling in the outer areas though and will definitely trade advice with ya.

Thanks James, I do plan on spending a whole lot of time in the "wholesaling" areas. I think this site and the community of it will be a great part ofimpressionmy future success.

Hi Steve, I have discovered that the founder of my local REI is also a long time real estate agent that also does whlolesaling. When speaking with him he told me he has all sorts if connections that he gets info on about REO, distressed, and so on and can make deals on them before anyone ever knows and hss all the buyers lined up. He says he does thousands a year. To me it was discouraging and intimidating and made me feel like I was late to the party. He seems like a pretty down to earth guy from first impression (only been to 1 meeting so far) but being new and not having experience it made the hurdles appear alot larger.

Good Morning All. My name is Thomas. I am a middle aged guy (not in crisis mode yet, but heard it involves a fancy sports car, he he) and I feel like my life really started 3 1/2 years ago when I met the most beautiful and amazing woman in the world (no offense ladies). Together we have discovered that we both had a deep desire to be in real estate and we finally just took the step and launched our company, Price Point Investments, on Jan 1st.

I am a musician and worship leader at my church, and I love all sorts of music from Big Band to R&B, Classic Rock, and 80's stuff, and of course the Rat Pack. I currently work 2 jobs (3 including this) and have held multiple jobs together for over 15 years (tired). I served my great country as a Military Police Officer and I also did a 7 yr stent in Fire/EMS as a Lt and EMT. I have lived in many areas but Az has to be my favorite, however, I promised my wife we would never leave Pa. And I've been told I like to talk, but I don't see it. I think I'm kinda shy.

With the countless number of books, programs, audio clips, videos, and blogs and articles (how we found BP :O) ) we feel like we have a small grasp on it. Our interest are in wholesaling and then using the funding from that to acquire multi family units (20-400 over time) to buy and hold. We have formed an LLC, compiled a nice team of professionals, mapped out a strategy, got business cards and forms together, even joined a local REI club. I have to say I feel on top of the world already and we haven't completed 1 transaction.

Through all of the planning there is only one area that concerns me, finding buyers. I feel like I can handle or find solutions to all the other areas, but for some reason finding buyers is eluding my thought processes. But, I am a "hands on" kinda guy so once I get it hold on and pick your feet up cause we're off!!

Please feel free to through advice and tips my way because I love to learn and I love to share what I have learned. I (we) are excited to be a part of this BP community and we look forward to not only getting your assistance in making our business successful, but also in finding some awesome friends and contacts along the way. So as you welcome us to your community I would also like to welcome you to our lives. :O)

My wife Dana will be posting soon to say hi.

P.S. I don't see why they say I like to talk. That was short and sweet wasn't it?
