@Ceasar Rosas, thanks for the info. Nothing comes to mind now, but if I can think of anything I will reach out. And ya I agree on the neighborhoods, I will make sure I get into the right ones. Just trying to get funding in place as I have my eye on a couple places already.

So I am thinking about getting into multi-family buildings in the New York area. There are some nice properties in the Bronx area. As a newbie, I wanted to reach out to the BP family and see what things I need to know about as a Canadian owning income properties in the US. Thanks

Another great book on flipping is by J. Scott through the Biggerpockets bookstore. And he also has a book on estimating a rehab project. I have read both books and they are very informative and provides  clear and easy to understand information. I highly recommend those books as well for anyone interested in flipping houses.

I am venturing into the world of wholesaling, primarily in the Dallas/Fort worth area. I was wondering if the standard assignment of purchase and sale can be used in this area. I had heard somewhere that it can not. And advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am going to be attending an open house tomorrow (Sunday) for a 4 bedroom house. Just looking for suggestions on what things to pay close attention to, and how would I decide if it will be a flip or a rental. Preliminary info has the asking price at 439.9K, so after the viewing I will need some help from the more experienced members on working the numbers for a flip or a rental. I will also take a lot of pictures, hopefully.
