Must you bid in your home state (backyard)? There are only TWO available in my area. If numbers are the key, I don't have numbers to work with :/

@Cappy Jones

Like you, I've been stuck on analysis paralysis. I am marketing more and being proactive. Hopefully, I'll make my deal before the second half of this year rolls around.

Congrats on getting your first duplex on auction! Keep us updated on your progress!

@Account Closed Thanks for the tag!

I'd be up for it.. Sunday evening would be best. Trying to get to Malibu after work on a weekday would be tough.

@Account Closed Great! I plan to attend. There's usually a lot of great folks to network with at that REIA group.

@Emerson Miranda

Welcome! Nice to see a local here. I grew up in Torrance but live in West Los Angeles now. Here is a good REIA next Tuesday you can join. There are over 100 people going.

I'm also focusing on wholesaling as well. Let me know if you have any questions!

Woo hoo! Happy 9th to BP! Thanks @Joshua Dorkin for BiggerPockets! It has been a priceless site for me! I am so grateful for all the people on here and you!

@Eric M. Thanks for your comments. I just went through the webinar and decided to sift through BP for feedbacks. As many have indicated, transactional funding is very beneficial. Can you tell me why is has been harder over the recent months and why is it a dying model? Thanks!

I've been researching on New Wealth Advisors and there have been a lot of negative reports on what a ripoff they are with investors paying up to 25K for their courses. I heard it's a spinoff of Nouveau Riche.

@Marshawn Moore Thanks for posting this. I, too, went online today and found a bunch of scam warnings about the company. There were only three reviews about them on Yelp and they were negative as well. Thanks for the blog link!
