That was my experience. Since then, I have heard of people who build their business on section 8. I guess you have to know what you are getting into and stay on top of management of the units and act quickly to resolve problems. The neighbors are a good source of information.

@Danny Carter   i have found that you have to be specific and watch to see what subs are doing or else you end up with what you dont want. I thought subcontractors were supposed to supervise subcontractors. Share your agreement about work to be done with the subs and follow up. it can get confusing when you follow up but the contractor does not.

@Paul Timmins i used to attend the REIA meeting but I have not in a while and I was a little put off at the 90 minute ad which served as the main event. I did see the wholesaler information that was made available but I never followed up. Have to improve follow up , right?
