I'm thinking of getting my first investment property from one of the online auctions. Can anyone with experience with that type of transaction share some "must-know" before proceeding?

great Copelon,

I'm trying to close ASAP; can you send me some more info please

Hi,
Anyone has had good experience with a Hard Money Lender in NY. Do you mind sharing a contact, I need to close on a deal quick.
Thanks

Thanks for the great advise. What to you guys suggest for someone like me who already own a family home from 20 years ago. I've refined it a couple of times to venture into failed businesses. But now, kind of stuck with a little bit of cash but desperate to start getting involved in the investment side of RE.

thanks for all the great feedback and advises. Is any experience investor in New York State looking for a partner to work with? I don't have the experience but the desire to learn and a little bit of capital to contribute

I'm an eager new RE investor with limited $. I have about $40k which I'm willing to use to start my investment career. I live in NYC but I'm willing to invest anywhere in the country. Which part of the country has the best opportunities for a small guy like me to start with 1 or 2 small multi family deal to buy and hold or to flip.

Thanks
