Daniel,

Welcome to the BP family. This is a great site for any questions you might have. I love that you can get answers from people that are doing it everyday, not just someone giving a presentation.

If you have any questions about the LA area I am local, feel free to contact me at any time.

Best,
Matthew

Do you know what type of property you're looking for?
Such as single family or multi unit?
A turn key or something that needs rehab?

J Scott,

Thank you for the link. The blog has a lot of the things I was wanting to hear. It's amazing that most of the things mentioned are(or should be) common sense.

What are some "outside the box" ways that we can create more leads? I'd like to hear what you have done?

Was it a success?

I'd consider myself a newbie investor at this point. I've done a couple deals with single family homes in Indiana. I have since relocated to Los Angeles and I'm making a career move into full time real estate. All of my experience is with residential and I'm becoming very interested in commercial.

I am also finishing my CA RE licensing now.

Joel,

Thank you for your response. I noticed that you are a commercial broker. I was just wondering what your thoughts are on where someone should focus their energy; commerical or residential?
