I have not heard of them before; it could be a local lender. however, make sure you ask for references for past clients who have closed with a similar scenario as yours.

not all lenders work with ITIN holders and Foreign Nationals, if you need a referral let me know.

If i were to interview a Private money broker i would ask the following.

Can you actually close?

what makes you different besides rates and points?

what was the easiest closing ever done, what was the hardest? why?

ask for references.

at the end of the day, a good relationship with a lender that can close when you need to close and can give you a no bs pricing is key. that is what I expect from my borrowers, be upfront and honest so we can have a smooth transaction.

a direct lender might be cost-effective sometimes, but nothing beats a broker that knows how to structure the deal instead of just submitting paperwork.

I'm from Dominican Republic, no product like that out there. the best option is to buy with the proceeds from the states.

Sean,

depending on the numbers, we can go DSCR or bridge financing to pull equity out.

Hi guys,

I am interested in becoming a residential developer, I am currently in the finance industry brokering business loans. I am In the process of moving to Atlanta, ga, and will want to head into that path. I have been thinking of getting a job in construction so I can learn how to build houses, what are your thoughts?
