Hello All. Can anyone recommend a lawyer with experience working with investors, and with drafting contracts (preferably in the Broward and Dade County area)? I'm a currently a licensed Realtor looking to move more into the investing side of the business and wish to obtain legal guidance and a contract specific to my investor needs. Thanks

Hello Paul, by any chance do you have a lawyer that you would refer? I would like to obtain a contract with the ability to assign, along with other important legal clauses. Thanks, Happy investing!
@Sharon Vornholt if you don't mind. I would appreciate viewing that sample as well.

Hello @Terri King, I'm curious to know what is TLO? Would you be able to provide a link for additional info? I also see you and I are working the Sunrise area, I would like to connect and bounce a few questions off each other to see if we may be able to benefit mutually.
Also @Rick H. where would be a good place to start pulling necessary info to track for open probate? I feel I'm in the same situation as Terri because finding the property isn't hard, its finding the PR. I use a web based software called Reifax which allows me to pull properties in probate however it only seems to provide me the name of the deceased in addition to necessary property information. I learned this the hard way after getting fussed out by family members of the deceased, whom I accidentally sent letters to because I was unaware that the person I addressed those letters were the deceased. By then the damage was done and all were immediately turned off to speak with me. I am tempted to send a generalized marketing piece however I feel this is a negative approach.

@Braden C - Would you recommend the same printer for a yellow letters? I'm finding the old one I currently use is jamming too much or it is grabbing several sheets at a time causing the texts to not align. I'm looking to upgrade.

@Johnathan Avila Just curious, I was checking out that site that you referenced. I see they have the lined legal paper with the 3 ring holes punched into the side. I do not see the paper without the holes, however I do see they just the blank yellow paper. This made me wonder if you were just printing the lines on the paper to kill 2 birds with one stone. Maybe I'm over thinking this. Could you shed a little light?

Hey J Scott,
Forgive me for I realize my inquiry came off not as attended, what I meant was "I want to ensure I maximize this learning experience with my mentor." I have only just begun working and learning from this team, as well as building onto my real estate education. No I am not as licensed agent. Just a beginner investor. Short sales is the niche I'm mentor is already working.
I've seen BP as well as books that state its best to know my exit strategy before entering into a deal which the main reason why I will be learning while observing 1st SS, and executing leg work my 2nd. My education goal is to how to
- get started(letters, business cards..), generating lead (sending letters, mixed with calling and door knocking), shadow my coach as we execute marketing, and sellers presentations. We will also cover what docs to gather as needed, while learn the fundamentals within my first 5 short sales.
I can't say yet how we plan to sale the properties because we haven't reached this point yet - But I will add it to my focus notes for my mentor.
