It seems that you've been doing this for some time but I wanted to reach out to you in regards to financing properties.

I have a property that I purchased several years ago, which I still have, but I didn't have the financing that it would need to complete the project. I still own my original property but it's just sitting there. Since then, I have moved on to another project, which should be completed by the end of next week and rented by June 30th.

By the way, I have a really difficult time finding someone that will fix the roof on my 1st property, because it is really steep. With this being one of the main issues and all of the copper has being stripped out of the property, I can't find any reason to keep it. It will cost me around $25k to fix up the property.

What do you suggest for financing? I'm thinking about getting a personal line of credit. Any other suggestions? This is for everyone that can offer suggestions.

Emily --

Welcome to the BP community. I am new to the community as well, and will be learning as I go along. It seems that you have a bit of experience in the RE industry, so best of luck in your newest adventure in RE.

I will be learning more & more as I go on.

@Robert Leonard Great deal! How long have you been in the industry? I will be contacting you via email soon, if that's okay with you. I am looking to obtain more properties in the Alexandria and surrounding areas.

General question: I have a guy that would like to purchase a property from me but has asked if I would allow him to do a "Rent to Own", with a down payment, and monthly payment options. What do you suggest?

Greetings All!

My name is Marvin(MJ) and I am new to the BP community!! I am a from Central Louisiana where I currently own an investment property, with a 2nd property in the works for purchase.

I currently live in Dallas, TX but I am currently purchasing homes in Louisiana for starters, but will eventually expand my business to the DFW area.

I am looking to learn as much information as possible on RE Investing. I am here to utilize this great networking site to meet new individuals and business owners, as well as gain RE leads and potential purchases from other investors.

Areas of interest: Buy & Hold, Wholesale, and Rehab & Flip Properties...

Hope to talk to many of you soon!!

MJ
