Being a GC is a whole headache in it self. But it can be done. Managing sub contractors is difficult unless the GC has his own staff or has been using the same subs for quite some time. The lesson to be learned here is simple maybe try finding another GC. Sounds to me the Sub contractors are the problem not the GC.
