check out the jetlending event tomorrow (wednesday 19th) usually pretty good turn out..

im not affiliated with them at all i just went to one event and was very pleased.

things you might want to include here are the areas you are looking to purchase, what you are looking to purchase as well. you dont want to get bombarded with Crap and end up missing something good in the clutter!

what Justin said is very true, point out to her that the bigger the house the more it costs to run it day to day and also to maintain it and the more time it takes to clean it lol my wife wishes she would have listened to me on that one (we own a 3-2 2400sqft now) i wanted a 3 unit MF that was 1300sqft each she said it was too small now she gets mad when she spends all afternoon cleaning the house.

its almost impossible to get deals that make sense inside the city limits... all the "Deals" the wholesalers are sending out are more like 'Steals' as in there goes your money lol....

Chris,

getting help from a more season investor is def a great Idea, now you have to think about what will you bring to the table.

Do you already have a deal in place? or do you have the funds to finance someone's deal?

i'm sure lots of people would be interested in working with or helping a new investor as long as they also see a benefit from doing so.

welcome to Bigger Pockets, have you looked into what areas you will want to work in ? also SFH, MFH, condos, etc?

since capital is low look for a few Hard money guys, or if your one of the lucky ones to have a rich uncle in the family private money is always an option as well.

and being from Brazil Soccer is in the blood over here!
