Post: With Bitcoin and Crypto dropping, is real estate about to boom?

I don't think there is a direct correlation with Crypto and Real Estate as of now. However, because of the current economic landscape of monetary tightening and rising interest rates all markets will feel the wrath of a stronger dollar. Real Estate is no exception, with higher rates, buyer demand is slowed. which will prevent a "boom" from happening. However as Justin Hammerle said above, Real Estate has always been a safe haven asset for times of economic uncertainty and elevated volatility. Moreover, I think that this, as well as, inventory still being lower than pre-pandemic levels will prevent a "crash" from happening as well. 

As crypto continues to grow I do think we will see crypto become more involved with real estate as transactions will be conducted more and more with crypto thanks to its almost instant settlement, as well as, the investment potential of virtual real estate within the meta verse. Eventually, I think traditional Titles and Deeds will be replaced by NFTs versions of them.

You could post for rent by owner listings on Zillow, Craiglist, Facebook, etc and disclose in the description you are looking for roommates/tenants to share the space with you. Researching and connecting with University of Alabama students or alumni could also be a viable option. Whatever option you choose be sure to carefully screen and vet potential roommates.

This can get sticky as the lease explicitly states that Security and First were due at signing. Personally I like to keep everything within writing and under contract for both parties' legal sake. If the tenant is just giving you their word about paying half this week and half next week that may not be enough for peace of mind, and legal sake. I would terminate the contract since the dues were never paid at signing and in 1-2 weeks when the tenant has the money, rewrite a new lease and go about it that way. I would advise that is the safer bet for all parties involved.

Awesome! I recommend you make a list of minimal rules for your guest to ensure your property is kept in proper condition such as "don't leave windows open with the A/C running". Also provide essentials for your guests such as dishes, dish soap, sponges, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, towels for the shower, and other cleaning supplies. Also maintain excellent communication with guests throughout the stay answering any questions or concerns that may arise. Best of luck!

The Federal Reserve has said in their previous meetings that there will be even more rate hikes by the end of this year, I'm not sure the exact amount of hikes or how much they will raise it by, but, I can say with confidence there's at least 2 more hikes before the year ends and more most likely into Q1 2023. I'm not sure which loan is the better option for you but hopefully this information can help guide you to your answer.

 Hey Larry, thanks for the suggestions and comment. Learning and perfecting how to process the entire transaction is certainly a priority for me.

3.  Ask how much the training costs....especially for new hire training.

I would also ask who answers broker type questions and test that system while you are there in the office.  Is the broker local? In the office? VM and they call back?  Someone else like a team leader?   See how fast they call you back?
