Hey everyone! I am kinda in the same boat. I work in entertainment in NY and as you know the rent here is crazy. A friend got me into thinking about house hacking and I am hooked on learning more and actually getting it done! I'm from New Rochelle, NY but see tons of opportunity for house hacking in Mount Vernon and the nicer areas of the Bronx. I am little nervous since I am doing this on my own with very little cash but it is my mission to start this journey and complete my first deal this year. It would be AWESOME to have maybe a mentor located in the NYC/Westchester Area to assist me on my quest.
