@Brianna Devons My first deal is a house hack in the inland empire! I see you're in LA county which isn't too far! I bought a 4 bd 2 ba house in Redlands Ca and rent out the rooms to cover my mortgage. I got it 2 years ago and havent paid a dime yet!

Now we are looking to get our next deal down in San Diego! I hope you find something that works for you!

Nice work Micah!

I agree with the comments below of college and some life experience there! It sounds like you are a person that will work their first 2 years at school and continue to stash away some cash!

I suggest make some friends and save up to get a single family home and rent out the spare rooms to your buddies! Its a low cost entry into investing, being a landlord and having the experiences dealing with tenants! You will likely want to live with them anyway! This way you can get into RE investing and continue your college education and life experience.

I'm 29 now and didn't start until 27 and I am still on track to retire at 40! So take some time. Enjoy your early years and get yourself set up to crush it!

That sounds like some great learning! Thank you @Eric Chiang for the follow up!

In my room rentals I have found that the FB pages are a better resource to get more eyes on my listing! Good luck out there!

Hey Eric! I know you posted this about a month ago but I was wondering if you have started to get MTR tenants in the property yet? I am a house hacker / agent in the Inland Empire and love this strategy! Let me know!!
