CARREIA meets monthly.  The focus and purpose is to learn more about real estate investing and connect with other investors.  It does require membership but you can visit the first time for free.

Hello,

I am very new and am still looking for my first property. I belong to a great REIA in Central Arkansas but there's something I keep forgetting to ask. When making a trio of offers, including one with seller financing, and they have a real estate agent; how does that work? Do you try to pass the offers through the agent or still try to sit down with the homeowners? Do you send the homeowner a letter? Agents are required to submit offers to the sellers but in my experience thus far, agents are required to do a lot of things they only do if they feel like it.
