Hello and welcome to BP!  My mother in law lives out in the country in Arkansas.  I am from and was raised in Dallas Texas.  Education is important to do before you start offering.  Find an experienced and trustworthy Team that will respond to your calls.  Always do the numbers and try to look at the property before you make an offer.  Please explain to the seller why you are lower than their asking price.  Try to make sure they understand you.  Do not cut any corners.  Do not try to do everything yourself.  Just focus on income producing things.  Get newly acquired property insured.  Change the locks on newly acquired property and if the locks are good use them at another address.

I am 59 years old and I am still trying to decide what to do.  I went to college and got a business degree that emphasized real estate.  In the same year that I graduated I got a broker license.  Regardless of what I had I felt more comfortable with the construction business.  I have been in the construction industry since I was 17.  My father has been in real estate for about 40 years and he has taught me a little bit.  If you think that I can help you please contact me through BP at any time.  Good luck!
