 https://www.biggerpockets.com/forums/521/topics/67...

When I first discovered this community, I had just one friend into it and now I get to meet over 30 of yall. Only 3 more days and between all groups we are looking at well over 30 people! All like-minded individuals, all focused on the FIRE path.  #theFIREstarted

Hey FIRE starters, meetup is 10 days away! Just to update everyone, we also have the event posted on facebook which has another 10 people confirmed, so we looking at almost 30 people! Spread the word! Spread the fire!

Hey I was in your exact shoes. I graduated pharmacy school with 125K in debt. I simply lived at home and took an axe to my student debt first. It feels so much better getting that weight off your shoulder and you also would be starting real estate from a position of power.

Since you are in school now. Take advantage of your free time because most pharmacy jobs are irregular hours. Keep reading books, going on BP, and also I recommend getting your realtor license.

Hey cool to see our picture was liked by the one and only @Mindy Jensen! Yes, the FIRE started over here in NJ!!

Thanks Ronny for the tag, Great to see more of us in Rahway @Andrew Frances and @Josh Thompson. I'm currently house-hacking a 3 Family house in the area. We'll definitely keep you updated on the soon-to-come Rahway meetup. For now, please check out the financial independence meetup I have in Linden. It brings a nice size crowd and while its geared more towards personal finance, a decent amount of people are into real estate

Hey guys, i recently purchased my first property and I am going to house hack the property. Besides Zillow, how else are people marketing their unit around this area. I did some comps on my unit and for a three bedroom, its looks like a range of 1700-2100. If anyone one is familiar with this area, I would like to also know if my comps make sense.

Hey man,

Just I rented out a unit last month in Rahway. Craigslist is very active in our area and can bring many calls. I also used Zillow which included Trulia and Hotpads. Honestly, those are sufficient enough....I received more calls than I could handle (a bit overwhelming lol)
