Just don't understand how it works on some peoples phone and not for others.

Well if they just added in the new @? functionality, shouldn't there be a new version with the new feature? I have done everything and just can't get it to work.

Thanks Shannon, I am glad I am not the only one. I have been in IT for ever so I definitely know I am not doing nothing wrong. I have an iPhone but I would think it is the same on an android phone so if you read the app in the google store it should say what version the app is and the last date it was updated. The one on the iPhone says it was last updated in Oct. of last year so I don't know how I am supposed to get this new update since that is all that is available in the apple app store.

Still doesnt work for me. Like we said above the app shows in the app store that there has been no update to it since Oct. of last year. Version 3.5.1. Maybe you can check with the developers and find out what the new version is supposed to be?

Can't figure out why it works for some people and not for others. And its just not my phone, it doesn't work on my iPad with the clunky iPhone app on there too.

Oh well, will just have to live with it I guess and jump on my computer anytime I need to tag someone in a post like I am doing here. :-(

Yeah that's the same version I have so there hasn't been any new updates to the app but I am still wondering how the new @? works for you but it doesn't work for me. Makes no sense. I have rebooted my phone and deleted and re-downloaded the app but it still won't work when I try to reply to a post. Hmmmm.

if you go to the app store on your phone and search for biggerpockets it will say in the app description when the last update was.

You mentioned this works now on your iPhone. Can you look and tell me what version of biggerpockets you have? I still cant get it to work on my iPhone 7 and my BP app version shows the last update is from Oct. 2016 and there is no new version waiting to update in the app store.
