Post: Question On Raising Private Equity

Hi everyone,

I really understand now how great of a tool bigger pockets is. Thank god my company has grown to heights I could not imagine within the last year and we have a steady amount of large deals in the pipeline every day.

I hear that bigger pockets has a mixture of individuals who are looking to get hands on into real estate and there are individuals who are looking for passive income.

Any tips on how to attract investors who are interested in passive income in the multi family syndication space?

Would love to get your opinions.

Thanks!

Hi everyone

My company is looking to acquire residential multi-families throughout the upstate area. From the lower hudson orange county area all the way to the capital region of Albany. At the moment we are looking for properties in the Port Jervis, Newburgh, Middletown and surrounding area. The larger the units the better, acquiring portfolios are most efficient. Yet we do not mind single families either. I am looking to connect with wholesalers, agents and anyone who might have leads. I could provide proof of funds for any prospective.

Thanks!!

@Doug Pretorius @Caleb Heimsoth

This is mine.

Well, it has been a crazy ride - but I run a Real Estate Holding Investment Company called GreyHill Capital Holdings and we buy residential multi-families throughout the upstate area.

Our goal is to enter a town with potential, buy as many solid properties as we can and make it our main priority to always give our investors the highest returns possible. We do all this while helping to improve the neighborhoods around.

I figured – I love real estate and construction and I am good at math and management so why not use my skills to build up passive income rather than working till I’m 60.

But personally I spend the bulk of my time putting together the financing with local individuals looking to make a better return on their money than the stock market can give and to partner with on some large properties, So, of course I gotta ask, you don’t know anyone looking to diversify into real estate, do you?

So if you know anyone itching to get into it so they can earn more than the lousy stock market can give, let them know I’m the guy to talk to.

Hello everyone,

My name is Moshe and I am interested in buying a cash only property using hard money, rehabbing and doing a cash out refi to hold the investment. I understand that you need an LLC to get the hard money loan which isn't a problem. The problem seems to be that its hard to do a cash out refi under an LLC so you would have to transfer it under one's name because they require the indeed to be under an individual's name. What is the best practice without running into roadblocks to accomplish the buy and hold strategy. I really believe in it long term and I already have one multi family under my belt waiting to refi. Post this first deal I have about 50K left to spend on my next deals, that is why I want to use the hard money approach.

Thanks for your help guys!
