Make sure you get the permits you need, if any are required in your area! That is a lesson that is no fun to learn the hard way.

It is fantastic that you are starting out so young! If you are single, I would strongly recommend house hacking! It is a great way to decrease your cost of living and help you build up capital. You may be used to having a roommate from college and could rent out all the rooms in a house or multifamily.

I am also happy to answer any questions you have about wholesaling which is another way to build up capital.

In regards to learning more about real estate and maybe how to answer those questions I'd recommend listening to BiggerPockets (Rookie and Real Estate Podcast), there are also some market specific real estate podcast you can check out depending on the area you want to invest in. 

There are great books out there on the BiggerPockets bookstore and that you could find in the library or on Amazon. You can just type real estate in and look at the top or recommended ones. 

Additionally, I say go to meetups and free webinars, trainings, events etc. Most of them will try and sell you a course at the end that you could choose to purchase or not, but regardless they usually offer helpful information and tidbits in the free part. They are also a great way to meet people and network.
